This metal, BRITANNIUM was developed in Britain in the 1600’s. A specific type of pewter alloy and lead and nickel free, it’s composition is tin, antimony and copper.
It is smooth, warm and captures sharp detail. The color does not change and does not require polishing. I chose this metal for my pewter pieces after careful consideration and I believe it offers the jewelry designer good value and quality for non sterling silver metal.
