Cast in sterling from an old piece I found in Texas. Says "Pray for Us" on the reverse.

"The Virgin of Blessings" The virgin is said to have appeared on a cross that the spanish had erected before the battle of Santo Cerro in 1495 in the Dominican Republic. She is said to have been luminescent, dressed all in white with an infant in her arms. In 1880, a beautiful white church was built a top the Santo Cerro mountain to replace a smaller hermitage built earlier. She is still a popular pilgramage for the faithful.
